If you’re a comic book fan, you won’t want to miss this event!
Geoff Johns, the critically acclaimed DC Comics writer, will be here on Saturday, September 8th, from 4pm-6pm! He will give a presentation about his body of work, culminating in the introduction of the new Green Lantern, Baz, who is the first major Arab American comic book superhero!
The event will be free and open to the public.
Local comic book store Green Brain Comics will be hosting a signing with Geoff Johns on Friday, September 7th, from 5pm-7pm.

The Concert of Colors is metro Detroit’s free annual diversity music festival. This year it’s being held held July 12 -15 in Midtown. More info at ConcertOfColors.com

Chinese pipa master Wu Man with Tajik musicians Abduvali Abdurashidov and Sirojiddin Juraev. From the new Music of Central Asia Vol 10 from Smithsonian Folkways.
Wu Man is one of the headliners for this year’s Concert of Colors event in Detroit! She plays at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, July 15 at 3:30 pm and it’s FREE! Check it out at ConcertOfColors.com
